The Association of Mongolian Intellectual Property Agents has successfully organized sports and arts events on April 17 and April 26, 2016 for the World Intellectual Property Day and Intellectual Property Protection Day in Mongolia.

During the friendly sports event, men’s basketball, volleyball and table tennis matches were organized between teams of the Intellectual Property Organization, Music Development NGO and the Association of Mongolian Intellectual Property Agents and the team of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia won the movable cup.

Every year, the 26th of April is celebrated as the World Intellectual Property Day and Intellectual Property Protection Day in Mongolia and due to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Intellectual Property Office of Mongolia has been celebrated on this day. On the occasion of this anniversary, the AMIPA has organized an honorary reception inviting all member of the Association and officials from the IP Office. During the event, the AMIPA has given awards named after it to S.Urangerel, Director of the Industrial Property Division, E.Odgerel, specialist of the Policy Coordination Division, L.Gerelmaa, trademark expert, and P.Tsoggerel, invention expert of the IP Office by evaluating their efforts. Mongolian famous singer B.Sarantuya, singers Uurintuya and Javkhaasaikhan, and rapper Gee have performed their songs for the anniversary event.
